THE FOUR CORE PRIVATE LESSONS

• Learn how to improve, control, and manage your dog’s behavior WITHOUT treats or commands

• Learn your dog’s reaction “triggers” and how to prevent negative behavior before it starts

• Learn how dogs think and understand foundational behaviors of the canine subspecies

• Learn how to speak “dog” and to communicate effectively with your pup

• Learn your dog’s body language and the reactions that tend to follow shifts in posture, facial muscles, etc.

• Learn to see your environment the way your dog does

 

LUCKYPUP CLUB PACK WALKS

Pack Walks are where we focus on additional Distraction Training to help maintain and solidify what you’ve learned during the Four Core private lessons:

• Socialize your Dog in a safe environment with others who all have the same training goals and methods.

• Socialize YOURSELF in a collaborative, compassionate environment with other humans who are also working through behavior issues with their pups - you’re not alone!

• Consistency is Key! Pack Walks give you and your dog the opportunity to make - and correct - LOTS of mistakes in LOTS of different environments. With consistent Pack Walk practice, the training will become “second nature” to you, which ensures it “sticks” long term.

• Safety in Any Environment - Parks, shopping centers, neighborhoods, you name it - we’ll practice there to ensure your dog (and the surrounding people and animals) is calm and under control...in other words: SAFE!

• Value - We want you to have as many opportunities as possible to practice in real-time, real-world environments so you and your pup can be each other’s greatest companions - up to 56 opportunities per year with our Complete Package, to be exact!

 

*NOTE: Pack Walks take place every weekend - usually Sunday -  but can be flexible depending on general client availability. Times vary depending on weather(i.e. avoiding the hottest part of the day in summer, rescheduling due to rain, etc.).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Any aggressive dogs who are known to bite other animals or people are required to wear a muzzle at each Pack Walk to keep everyone safe**

• You cannot attend Pack Walks until you have completed Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 from the Complete Package and pass “The Initiation”:

  • Your pup must maintain ‘The Stay’ in a public setting for 15 minutes

  • Then an additional ‘Stay’ of 15 minutes while a distraction is within 5 feet of your pup

• Pack Walk Membership will be suspended if you miss FOUR consecutive Pack Walks. This is to ensure the dog does not revert to his/her old ways. If this is the case, then you must re-schedule a Re-Evaluation + Testing session with your LuckyPup trainer and gain his/her approval before rejoining the Pack Walks.

  • This for the safety of all humans and dogs involved, and to encourage the CONSISTENCY that is essential for long-term behavior modification of your dog.

  • If you and your pup fail the first Re-Evaluation + Test, a retest will be done the following week. 

  • If that test is failed then you have two weeks to continue working on Lesson 1 / The Stay. 

  • If the second Re-Evaluation + Test is also failed then we’ll try again in a month and a $250.00 monthly fee applies until you and your dog pass.*

 *Rest assured this is an extremely rare, worst-case scenario and can be easily avoided by being consistent with our simple training techniques.
